Run or Walk with Friends.
Meet 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday throughout the year at Westchester Lagoon. Run or walk with friends for one hour on the Coastal and/or Chester Creek Trails. On the first Wednesday in January, February, and March meet at the Alaska Dome.
Do Run-Run. Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Meet 5:30 pm at a location to be determined. Race time 6:00 pm. 4 miles. Entry fee: ARC membership.
Trent/Waldron Glacier Half Marathon. Saturday, May 29, 2010.
Meet 8:00 am Westchester Lagoon. Race time 9:00 am. Flat and fast on Chester Creek and Coastal Trails. Entry fee: ARC membership. Registration and bib-pickup at Skinny Raven Sports on Wedneday, May 26, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. More info . . .
Mugwumps. Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
Meet 5:30 pm Point Woronzof. Race time 6:00 pm. 10K out and back on the Coastal Trail. Limited to persons who have never run a 10K under 45 minutes. Open to all ages. Entry fee: ARC membership.
Mugwumps was the inspiration of Jay Caldwell and Tim Middleton. The name ‘mugwumps’ is a political term heralding from the 1870-80’s. A person is said to be mug on one side, and wumps on the other, unable to commit to either political view -- as some of us have trouble deciding whether we are serious runners or do it just for fun.

Masters' 5K/10K. Wednesday, July 21, 2010.
Meet 5:30 pm at Point Woronzof Parking Lot. Race time 6:00 pm. 5K or 10K out and back on flat Coastal Trail. Limited to runners 40 years of age or older. Entry fee: ARC membership.
Plans to move the 2010 Master's Run to the new trails being constructed in the Campbell Tract area had to be put on hold for this year. The trail system in that area is still evolving, and many of the newly constructed connecting trails are not yet open for public use. We hope to see lots of Masters Runners back at our regular Point Woronzof site on July 21 to enjoy this popular ARC event.

Meet 7:30 am Snowgoose Restaurant. Race time 9:00 am. 5K and 10K out and back course on the Coastal Trail. 1/4 mile children's race. Oktoberfest is a benefit for Bean's Cafe and the Brother Francis Shelter. Download the race entry form.
Zombie Half Marathon. Saturday, October 23, 2010.
Wear your best zombie costume for this late season event on the Coastal and Chester Creek trails. The event will be held regardless of weather and trail conditions. More info . . .
