The Snow Globe Run
Race Details
Whether you run, walk, or just stand and cheer, you are invited to participate in the Snow Globe Run on Saturday - December 9, 2023, on Campbell Creek Trail behind the Peanut Farm restaurant at 11:00 AM.
Due to insurance requirements, dogs are not allowed at this event, and we ask that you leave them at home. Due to the anticipated snow on the course strollers are discouraged but if you decide to participate with a stroller, we ask that you start in the back.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Alaska Zoo, and your bib will grant you free access to the Zoo on race day.
Family Fun
There will be a Zoo Critters themed costume contest beginning at 10:15 a.m., before the start of the race, for those wanting to dress in costume. Prizes will be given for best Child (12 and under), Male, Female, and Group costumes.
Your bib will grant you free access to the Zoo on race day, Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
Our newest sponsor, SteamDot, will be out at the race with hot chocolate and coffee for the runners. They are excited to provide samples of their products for our enjoyment!
Also on your bib is a coupon for a 6 inch sub from Subway of Alaska with the purchase of a 6" sub.
Course Information
The course start and finish line is on the trail and accessible via the Peanut Farm overflow parking lot to the south of the former Sourdough Mining Company. The course is a 4K out and back along the Campbell Creek Trail south for 2K and turns around. This is a flat course with little in the way of hills.

Bib Pick Up
Bib pickup will be on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Location at The Movement Clinic, 4007 Old Sweard Hwy STE 100, Anchorage, AK 99503.
Last minute bib pick up and registration is also available on the morning of the race from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM.
Late registration fees are in effect for runners registering after 11:59 PM, December 7, 2023.
